Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 14th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ter Stegen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Zbyszek Le Bonniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cianán McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. José Pedro Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Jameson in the 36th minute of play. If Walery Bienienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Jameson in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, one of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy. Gustaw Nowak went to the wrong direction when Ersin Uyguralp was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donleavy Barrett made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Zbyszek Le Bonniec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ter Stegen. That made the score 0-2 after 52 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donleavy Barrett in the 56th minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Jerry Cala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. José Pedro Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Mieszko Marosz was substituted for Jerry Cala. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Rafal Ludwiczak got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Jameson in the 82nd minute of play. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Ludwiczak in the 85th minute of the match. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Ludwiczak in the 85th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 85th minute when Rafal Ludwiczak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
