Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, AA Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Ikalewicz came free, but Leonard Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Ted Lasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vitinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho de Barros came free, but Ján Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Motowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Rosen having to interfere. Leonard Rosen was a little too slow when Borys Kolba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, AA Bełchatów's Konrad Klack got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Guido Pietro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AA Bełchatów and the Wittbach SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, AA Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Pietro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Ikalewicz in the 44th minute of play forced AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Ted Lasso made the kick off in the second half. Ján Oblak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitinho de Barros's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute Borys Kolba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandru Macavei kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Leonard Rosen came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Wittbach SSA's Borys Kolba. But to his dismay, Borys Kolba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Tomasz Motowski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Ted Lasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Rosen was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When Jedrzej Ikalewicz came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Wittbach SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Ikalewicz couldn't finish the play.
