The corner ended in Mariusz Kaleta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak did a great save. A sloppy throw-in by Szymon Pyrzyce in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KN ZGORZELEC's Arvid Bodin. 14 minutes into the game, Arvid Bodin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KN ZGORZELEC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wittbach SSA the free kick. Arvid Bodin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, Wittbach SSA's Grzegorz Motowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wittbach SSA reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wessel Bos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ján Oblak saved Wittbach SSA from getting behind. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 20th minute of play. Szymon Pyrzyce made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Grzegorz Motowski however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Lasso in the 32nd minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Borys Karaszkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KN ZGORZELEC's protests and gave Borys Karaszkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ján Oblak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Lasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Ted Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Kolba in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borys Karaszkiewicz to make the kick off. Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wessel Bos in the 53rd minute of play. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Ikalewicz in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Grzegorz Motowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KN ZGORZELEC's Kazimierz Chrobak was substituted for Borys Karaszkiewicz. KN ZGORZELEC's Gilbert Gotfryd was substituted for Emiliano Felice. Constantino Frederik kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Wessel Bos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ján Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wessel Bos in the 78th minute of the match. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Lasso in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ted Lasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittbach SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Lasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lasso came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Chrobak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wessel Bos might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ján Oblak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wessel Bos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 94th minute of play. Ján Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Chrobak in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wittbach SSA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
