In the 26th minute Mevlüt Serin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Gregoire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Mevlüt Serin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Roch Mazierski made the kick off in the second half. Ludomir Biraga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Zryw Samsonów getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ludomir Biraga hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Zryw Samsonów's goalkeeper Ronnie Gregoire had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ace Ventura. If George Volontir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Zryw Samsonów's Ronnie Gregoire got control of the ball when Michal Piechocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wincent Cielencki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahri Ülmen in the 95th minute of the match. Zryw Samsonów's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
