An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Gotzon in the 27th minute of play forced Zryw Samsonów's goalkeeper Ronnie Gregoire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvard Fagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Bartoszek in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zryw Samsonów's zone, Jimmie Käcker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Gregoire came out of the goal and Jimmie Käcker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ronnie Gregoire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Käcker in the 52nd minute of play. Jimmie Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Gregoire having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronnie Gregoire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Commander Crowe's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Bartoszek came free, but Edvard Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Merski in the 94th minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Roman Bartoszek put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edvard Fagerberg. The Zryw Samsonów supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zryw Samsonów would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
