Sorin Zâncă helped the player get up and apologised. Sorin Zâncă kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Andrei Marioara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Petrolul Berca and the FC Buzău players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Marioara to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Bosânceanu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Vărzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Marioara in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Aurel Mustea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Vărzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Birișu to maneuver through the defense. Marioara Dragușin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes of play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Andrei Marioara made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gheorghe Vărzaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nistor Arjoca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ionel Lung showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. Aurel Mustea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Vărzaru having to interfere. Aurel Mustea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrei Marioara was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 44th minute, Andrei Marioara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Sorin Zâncă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nistor Arjoca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Mustea got free with Gheorghe Vărzaru in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the game, Gelu Chivu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Buzău's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Petrolul Berca the free kick. Gelu Chivu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Cristoiu. In the 61st minute Ionel Lung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Arjoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to -BZF- Petrolul Berca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Liviu Hurmuz hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes -BZF- Petrolul Berca got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Hrib. In the 72ndth minute of the game Aurel Mustea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buzău's Gheorghe Vărzaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gheorghe Vărzaru didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Aurel Mustea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the -BZF- Petrolul Berca defense, Luca Inculeț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Arjoca. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Arjoca should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Buzău fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Gheorghe Vărzaru had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Aurel Mustea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gheorghe Vărzaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Mustea went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Liviu Hurmuz got a free kick in the 96th minute. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Buzău from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
