Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Ecija to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in HIT Gorica's zone, Adalberto Ecija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal and Adalberto Ecija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Ecija came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The HIT Gorica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gondor FC™ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
