The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samantha Farhat, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Farik Gagula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duško Turnšek in the 12th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Rastislav Tomič sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Farik Gagula skillfully saved the ball. Samantha Farhat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Arisandy, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Konstantin Pančur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roni Arisandy went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Farik Gagula successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Tạ 朱光岩 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konstantin Pančur. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tạ 朱光岩 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34th minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farik Gagula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Arisandy came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Mili Nesimović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konstantin Pančur. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mili Nesimović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duško Turnšek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Zdrojewski in the 51st minute of play forced Dobrinja FC's goalkeeper Farik Gagula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Dobrinja FC booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Zdrojewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Dobrinja FC's Roni Arisandy got a free kick in the 64th minute. Zlatko Goričan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dobrinja FC made a substitution. Đorđe Rekibović replaced Mats De Ligt. HIT Gorica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Samantha Farhat scored to the left of an out of position Konstantin Pančur, making the score, 0-4. After some careless play in the Dobrinja FC defense, Venancio Abalos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farik Gagula. The Dobrinja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farik Gagula should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Delmiro Lizbeth put in a rough tackle. In the 84th minute, one of HIT Gorica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HIT Gorica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Istok Šabotić in the 95th minute of play forced Dobrinja FC's goalkeeper Farik Gagula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samantha Farhat scored 1-6 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantin Pančur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dobrinja FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
