Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Bogdanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilko Smoje kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Nelson Mandela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Navarro Montoya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Mandela, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. FK Željezničar's Patricio Maquibar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ilko Smoje, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Navarro Montoya came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Željezničar's Camillo Pesce. But to his dismay, Camillo Pesce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelson Mandela to strike the kick off in the second half. Grigoris Koufakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Camillo Pesce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Željezničar's Grigoris Koufakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Mata in the 55th minute of play. Grigoris Koufakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Cantona in the 60th minute of the match. Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Bogdanović in the 62nd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Bogdanović came free, but Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Jastreb's Bo Cantona made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grigoris Koufakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! FK Željezničar's Grigoris Koufakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Forsberg in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of FK Željezničar booed when Jastreb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Cantona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Pesce hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. FK Željezničar's Adi Jusufović was substituted for Nelson Mandela. The supporters of Jastreb booed when FK Željezničar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Pesce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK Željezničar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jastreb.
