The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Blue Warriors™'s Muhedin Zovko got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Bogdanović in the 10th minute of play forced Blue Warriors™'s goalkeeper Giannis Konstantinou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Konstantinou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Bogdanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, FK Željezničar's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Zelenika came free, but Grigoris Koufakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Camillo Pesce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Konstantinou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börge Tidéksson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigoris Koufakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camillo Pesce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Konstantinou having to interfere. Grigoris Koufakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Tidéksson in the 33rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Blue Warriors™'s corner Zumbul Nurković fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Grigoris Koufakis quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Mandela in the 37th minute of play forced Blue Warriors™'s goalkeeper Giannis Konstantinou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murat Zelenika in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. FK Željezničar were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Blue Warriors™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Šemsudin Kamber took the corner. Grigoris Koufakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Tidéksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Giannis Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Šemsudin Kamber in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Nelson Mandela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Konstantinou. Nelson Mandela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Blue Warriors™'s Fabio Cannata was substituted for Pedro Luiz Dantas. Blue Warriors™'s Eldar Huseinović was substituted for Beno Perzivović. If Camillo Pesce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigoris Koufakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murat Zelenika in the 83rd minute of play. Grigoris Koufakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Zelenika, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Zelenika in the 89th minute of play forced FK Željezničar's goalkeeper Grigoris Koufakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigoris Koufakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Rice in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Blue Warriors™ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Murat Zelenika hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
