HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Željezničar the free kick. In the 20th minute of the match Šemsudin Kamber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstantin Pančur skillfully saved the ball. Konstantin Pančur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 50th minute Zlatko Goričan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Koufakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Delmiro Lizbeth put in a rough tackle. In the 60th minute, one of HIT Gorica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HIT Gorica. Nail Delibašić kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Adi Jusufović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The HIT Gorica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK Željezničar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
