In the 40th match minute, Seraċini Għawdxin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Bruno to maneuver through the defense. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 46th minute of the match.
If Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clayton Gerada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicklas Smitt in the 91st minute. Paul Montebello hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Clayton Gerada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Glanselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over KIA KAHA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seraċini Għawdxin throughout the match.
