Brendan Leblanc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Tepedino in the 8th minute of play. Rickard Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Maiorga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stiff Rambo who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rickard Lundgren managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Albino Maiorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 23rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Brendan Leblanc threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexandre Tepedino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the game, Guo Ke Peng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingpins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene the free kick. In the 40th minute, Guo Ke Peng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 42nd minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marcos Urtsin hit a great ball. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 46th minute of play. Henning Strömqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Rickard Lundgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albino Maiorga, 0-2. Rickard Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Albino Maiorga made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guo Ke Peng. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Trulsson during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl Trulsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Rickard Lundgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kingpins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Lundgren came free, but Albino Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 73rd minute of play. Kingpins's Bo Kruuse was substituted for Rickard Lundgren. Kingpins's Roger Västerstrand was substituted for Guo Ke Peng. Kingpins's Arrigo Tonon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcos Urtsin in the 78 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Feng Guang in the 79th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Brendan Leblanc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Pascual Pomelin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brendan Leblanc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 95 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Karl Trulsson. When Liu Feng Guang got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Brendan Leblanc was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kingpins eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
