Adrian Collier hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. AFK Petržalka's Róbert Polievktov got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saverio Ribeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hao Fan Chong came out and tried to block the shot, but Saverio Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Tomáš Rigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFK Petržalka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavenly Hooters the free kick. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Rigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Saverio Ribeiro in the 22nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Hao Fan Chong's left hand side. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Sauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hao Fan Chong made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Shane Beesley sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Peter Hvižďák in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Heavenly Hooters's Saverio Ribeiro. AFK Petržalka's Hao Fan Chong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. When Heavenly Hooters's Saverio Ribeiro in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Heavenly Hooters's corner Saverio Ribeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hao Fan Chong quite easily take care of the ball. Róbert Polievktov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennie Rusby having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luiz de Moraes made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Mário Sauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFK Petržalka and the Heavenly Hooters players grew even worse after the yellow card. 52 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz de Moraes came free, but Hao Fan Chong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hao Fan Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Ribeiro in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Shane Beesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hao Fan Chong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFK Petržalka's Hao Fan Chong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 65th minute of play. Shane Beesley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hao Fan Chong having to make a save. Saverio Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Saverio Ribeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Róbert Polievktov in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
