Dorio Laje didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikola Krstović went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sasho Amiorkov in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorio Laje saved Valhalla F.C. from getting behind. Alexandro Gattuso's late challenge caught a AFK Petržalka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandro Gattuso helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Valhalla F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alexandro Gattuso. Marcelo Penilla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tim Hebel came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Penilla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. Osmundo Bullan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Tim Hebel got control of the ball when Marcelo Penilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillermo Checa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorio Laje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osmundo Bullan during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Valhalla F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Osmundo Bullan hit a great ball. When AFK Petržalka's Sasho Amiorkov in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valhalla F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Penilla was the one to do the kick off. Nikola Krstović took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorio Laje. Dorio Laje dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Nikola Krstović managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikola Krstović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorio Laje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valhalla F.C. made a substitution. 王益邦 replaced Osmundo Bullan. 70 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorio Laje narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Alexandro Gattuso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valhalla F.C. made a substitution. Furtado Pellon replaced Rodrygo Goes. When Marcelo Penilla came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Valhalla F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Penilla couldn't finish the play. Tim Hebel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Furtado Pellon's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The Valhalla F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Valhalla F.C.'s Furtado Pellon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the AFK Petržalka defense, Furtado Pellon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Hebel. The AFK Petržalka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Hebel should have stopped the shot.
