To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Het Koffiehuis's Golo Oolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s attentive Délio Araújo managed to snatch the ball when Christian Chivu made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Ronaldinho Gaucho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jiang Kun Liang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.
