Liviu Sbârcea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gigel Gorgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Chificeac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Andersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Chificeac. If Iustin Chificeac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Ove Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Chificeac in the 12th minute of the match. A hard shot 15 in the game by Iustin Chificeac from a close distance when the talented Karl-Ove Andersson managed to make a qualified save. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Chificeac came free, but Karl-Ove Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Chificeac in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Ove Andersson saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Onciu to maneuver through the defense. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. Karl-Ove Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Chilian, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Liviu Sbârcea kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Chificeac came free, but Karl-Ove Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Ove Andersson had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Iustin Chificeac from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Iustin Chificeac in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Ove Andersson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Iustin Chificeac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Andersson came out of the goal and Iustin Chificeac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Chificeac in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Ove Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iustin Chificeac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Sbârcea made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Iustin Chificeac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Andersson was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Chificeac couldn't finish the play. Iustin Chificeac struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Karl-Ove Andersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MIT. The supporters of MIT booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Onciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Chificeac in the 75th minute of play. Karl-Ove Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Chificeac in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Iustin Chificeac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MIT's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Chificeac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Ove Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Iustin Chificeac had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Ove Andersson. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Chificeac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Iustin Chificeac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Andersson came out of the goal and Iustin Chificeac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Ove Andersson came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT's Iustin Chificeac. But to his dismay, Iustin Chificeac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MIT had played much better football throughout.
