Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Calistrat Bucuță took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wojtek Szczęsny had in the 3rdth minute some difficulties stopping Leontin Iacobescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. MIT's Radu Bulă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eric Pârlea, made in the 6th minute of the game. Iustin Chificeac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eric Pârlea made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Braulio Castel immediately put the ball in play. A sloppy throw-in by Valer Papadima in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C.BARLAD's Adam Gheorghiță. MIT's Vlad Anghel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save MIT from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes, Lucian Mangra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the F.C.BARLAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Mangra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C.BARLAD's Calistrat Bucuță slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vlad Anghel. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. 38 minutes into the match, MIT's goalkeeper Vlad Anghel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calistrat Bucuță. A sloppy throw-in by Valer Papadima in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C.BARLAD's János Csongrádi. Wojtek Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Chificeac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Braulio Castel put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vlad Anghel.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Leontin Iacobescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute Sandu Brădescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Anghel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Calistrat Bucuță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vlad Anghel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Leontin Iacobescu's late challenge caught a F.C.BARLAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Iacobescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Leontin Iacobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlad Anghel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Bucuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 70 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Chificeac came free, but Wojtek Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C.BARLAD's Pablo Paz got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Wojtek Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lucian Mangra sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leontin Iacobescu. MIT's Vlad Anghel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Bucuță in the 97th minute of play. Liviu Ciolacu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. MIT's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
