The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Benkó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wojtek Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Boukouvalas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Codruț came free, but Cristi Miheș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wojtek Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Benkó, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Wojtek Szczęsny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Benkó's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Benkó came free, but Wojtek Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Benkó in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wojtek Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by János Csongrádi. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wojtek Szczęsny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Róbert Benkó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
