F.C.BARLAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liviu Ciolacu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Liviu Ciolacu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny did a great save. Vlad Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 40th minute of the match. Valer Papadima made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.C.BARLAD's Adam Gheorghiță. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustin Chificeac was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, F.C.BARLAD's Vlad Anghel threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nichifor Codruț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Codruț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlad Anghel was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Bocaneț in the 79th minute of play. Vlad Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 82nd minute of the match. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Bocaneț in the 84th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Iustin Chificeac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the game, MIT's Cristinel Bocaneț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wojtek Szczęsny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The F.C.BARLAD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented MIT from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
