The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 6th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beek City were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Club Brugge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ademir Rodrigues took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Roman Lech heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Stein Spoelberch came out of the goal and Vahdet Ulumeriç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vahdet Ulumeriç might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahdet Ulumeriç ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Vahdet Ulumeriç came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vahdet Ulumeriç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stein Spoelberch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Vahdet Ulumeriç came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Hector Bellerin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Beek City's Telis Lianos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vahdet Ulumeriç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stein Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahdet Ulumeriç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Louis Ouaddou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Spoelberch having to interfere. Fausto LaGarde didn't quite understand what happened when in the 42 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Vahdet Ulumeriç might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahdet Ulumeriç ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Vahdet Ulumeriç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vahdet Ulumeriç to strike the kick off in the second half. Vahdet Ulumeriç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stein Spoelberch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes Club Brugge's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ademir Rodrigues who took care of the corner kick. Stein Spoelberch made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Vahdet Ulumeriç sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Vahdet Ulumeriç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stein Spoelberch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 63 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Nelleboedske came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent Nelleboedske hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Vahdet Ulumeriç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahdet Ulumeriç got free with Stein Spoelberch in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vahdet Ulumeriç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 孔磊傲 in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arian Beqaj saved Beek City from getting behind. Jean-Louis Ouaddou scored 0-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stein Spoelberch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Brugge made a substitution. Jan-Simon Elsen replaced 孔磊傲. 88 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vahdet Ulumeriç. Stein Spoelberch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vahdet Ulumeriç's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Club Brugge got a corner. Beek City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henning Ekström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Brent Nelleboedske was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Beek City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
