Wilmer Gallo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Durval Proença sent off a good shot on target. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Heidemann came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilmer Gallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilbert Ugalde's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Heidemann got free with Wilmer Gallo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alvi Verde eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
