The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angelo Melani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杨远益 in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Eloy Truylos made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Melani. Whity Pool United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Eloy Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chippenham defense, Stevie Moore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 肖崇天. The Chippenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 肖崇天 should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Waclaw Kaczanek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 肖崇天 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 杨远益 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Melani having to make a save. Angelo Melani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 杨远益, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Vlastaras in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 肖崇天, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Brent in the 36th minute of play forced Whity Pool United's goalkeeper Angelo Melani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Barry Fox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Soussan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Gregory Brent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Whity Pool United's goal looked a bit too open when 杨远益 came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Charis Vlastaras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 肖崇天. Chippenham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charis Vlastaras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charis Vlastaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Charis Vlastaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chippenham's 肖崇天 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 肖崇天 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syd Ely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Waclaw Kaczanek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Whity Pool United's Anan Fachrurozi got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Gregory Brent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Melani was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Angelo Melani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Truylos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 65 in the game by Gregory Brent from a close distance when the talented Angelo Melani managed to make a qualified save. Whity Pool United's players were relieved. 杨远益 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Melani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Charis Vlastaras notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Chippenham's 肖崇天. 肖崇天 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chippenham made a substitution. Kris Morning replaced 杨远益. After a rather tough play, Chippenham's Calum Cardwell got a free kick in the 71st minute. Charis Vlastaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Whity Pool United's Angelo Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Truylos in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Whity Pool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waclaw Kaczanek to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chippenham getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Barry Fox hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, Fitz Beck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Melani. Fitz Beck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. In the 88th match minute, Chippenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Fox to maneuver through the defense. Fitz Beck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Angelo Melani made a huge save. Valter Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 肖崇天 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Soussan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Whity Pool United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
