Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Collingwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Ottaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristian Ottaway made a kick off. In the 68thth minute of the game Justin Collingwood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Kristian Ottaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Best's late challenge caught a Henley on Thames United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antony Best helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Best to maneuver through the defense.
