In the 6th minute of the match Staffordshire Terrier FC got a corner. Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brice Gamble ran over to the corner to take the kick. Richie Byfield tried in the 6th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Martin Giöck a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. With a little luck, Stickleback Utd Xl's Martin Giöck got control of the ball when Yu Jie Xing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yu Jie Xing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Martin Giöck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Yu Jie Xing got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Matt Sullivan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Sullivan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Howlett in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clive Holloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well placed Darryl Howlett short distance shot in the 58th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 62nd match minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Mager to maneuver through the defense. Martin Giöck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Sullivan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
