An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jie Xing in the 13th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Martin Giöck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jie Xing came free, but Martin Giöck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Yu Jie Xing notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stickleback Utd Xl's Martin Giöck. A well-hit corner resulted in Silvester Odell heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jay Flack hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Kevin Ahlbeck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clive Holloway skillfully saved the ball. Clive Holloway made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Kris Tetley sent off a good shot on target. Staffordshire Terrier FC made a substitution. Matt Sullivan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kris Tetley came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Stickleback Utd Xl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris Tetley couldn't finish the play. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Odell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Flack to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Zanardi. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Matt Sullivan hit a great ball. Lance Shakespeare took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clive Holloway. Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Staffordshire Terrier FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
