A collision led to Begu Ganjang getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Yoyo Yom hit a great ball. Tonton Wiriadipura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gatot Makatita in the 7th minute of play. Abas Arkananta's late challenge caught a JEMBer UTara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abas Arkananta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of JEMBer UTara booed when Begu Ganjang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abas Arkananta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Begu Ganjang got a freekick which was hit by Tukul Simanungkalit. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dewa Šuto during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dewa Šuto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewa Šuto in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarsan Suartama saved JEMBer UTara from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dewa Šuto in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarsan Suartama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Eduard Suryadinata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, JEMBer UTara's Ecep Priambodo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tonton Wiriadipura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Begu Ganjang's Tonton Wiriadipura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gatot Makatita in the 22nd minute of play. Tonton Wiriadipura made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ecep Priambodo sent off a good shot on target. Wendy Widura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tarsan Suartama having to make a save. If Dewa Šuto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buach Zachar kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewa Šuto in the 42nd minute of play forced JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Tarsan Suartama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Haryanto Nurpijal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dewa Šuto to strike the kick off in the second half. JEMBer UTara's Tarsan Suartama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dewa Šuto in the 51st minute of play. Adam Rahwana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dewa Šuto in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarsan Suartama saved JEMBer UTara from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Wendy Widura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Haryanto Nurpijal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Begu Ganjang's supporters rose to their feet, but Haryanto Nurpijal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarsan Suartama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Buach Zachar hit a great ball. Tonton Wiriadipura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ecep Priambodo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Begu Ganjang got a freekick which was hit by Wendy Widura. 75 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Ecep Priambodo came free, but Tonton Wiriadipura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tonton Wiriadipura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gatot Makatita in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Buach Zachar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tonton Wiriadipura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ecep Priambodo in the 84th minute of the match. JEMBer UTara's Tarsan Suartama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save JEMBer UTara from getting a goal against them. JEMBer UTara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Haryanto Nurpijal scored to the left of an out of position Tarsan Suartama, making the score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ecep Priambodo in the 91st minute of play forced Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tonton Wiriadipura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Dewa Šuto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Begu Ganjang players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
