The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. PS Gunung Sindur's Djati Sujarwadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecep Priambodo in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, JEMBer UTara's Gatot Makatita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Djati Sujarwadi. Djati Sujarwadi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, JEMBer UTara's Buach Zachar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Djati Sujarwadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ecep Priambodo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute Gatot Makatita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djati Sujarwadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, JEMBer UTara's Ecep Priambodo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Djati Sujarwadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, PS Gunung Sindur's goal looked a bit too open when Gatot Makatita came free, but Djati Sujarwadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haddad Leimena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Djati Sujarwadi made a huge save. After 30 played minutes PS Gunung Sindur got a freekick which was hit by Uut Jatnika. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ecep Priambodo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Djati Sujarwadi saved PS Gunung Sindur from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as JEMBer UTara's Ecep Priambodo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Djati Sujarwadi. That made the score 4-0 after 38 minutes of play. Jafar Abissay hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, PS Gunung Sindur's goal looked a bit too open when Gatot Makatita came free, but Djati Sujarwadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djati Sujarwadi made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Gatot Makatita sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ecep Priambodo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Gatot Makatita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djati Sujarwadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the PS Gunung Sindur defense, Gatot Makatita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Djati Sujarwadi. The PS Gunung Sindur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Djati Sujarwadi should have stopped the shot. The supporters of PS Gunung Sindur booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haddad Leimena didn't get a good kick on the ball. PS Gunung Sindur's Djati Sujarwadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ecep Priambodo in the 63rd minute of play. Djati Sujarwadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gatot Makatita in the 66th minute of play. Djati Sujarwadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gatot Makatita in the 68th minute of the match. Djati Sujarwadi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 85 minutes into the match, PS Gunung Sindur's goal looked a bit too open when Buach Zachar came free, but Djati Sujarwadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haddad Leimena in the 86th minute of play forced PS Gunung Sindur's goalkeeper Djati Sujarwadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Haddad Leimena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Djati Sujarwadi was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Djati Sujarwadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haddad Leimena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Ecep Priambodo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djati Sujarwadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JEMBer UTara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
