Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Xing Ting in the 11th minute of the match. Joe Herring scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Bresson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerson Santana took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerry Lodge. Jerry Lodge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Zhuang Xing Ting's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerry Lodge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Gerson Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Oliver Bean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Plumber to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Lenílson Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhuang Xing Ting was the one to do the kick off. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Bresson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. INTOCABLES 2oo4 made a substitution. Ibon Duarte replaced Arnaitz Bartumeu. After 69 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Bean. Jerry Lodge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manoj Espinosa in the 70th minute. With his leg Jerry Lodge managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when INTOCABLES 2oo4's Manoj Espinosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valencia C.F.'s Tuncay Candeğer was substituted for Alfred Claydon. 83 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manoj Espinosa came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, INTOCABLES 2oo4's Lenílson Siqueira got a free kick in the 87th minute. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuang Xing Ting in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tuncay Candeğer hit a great ball.
