Damazy Joks might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boguslaw Siwek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damazy Joks ran back to his position shaking his head. Boguslaw Siwek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 5th minute of the match. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Gigel Botescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save KS Olimpia Warszawa from getting a goal against them. Gigel Botescu came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Powiśle Warszawa's Dominik Maziarski. But to his dismay, Dominik Maziarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lorenzo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gigel Botescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Gigel Botescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Drab in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Powiśle Warszawa defense, Damazy Joks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boguslaw Siwek. The Powiśle Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boguslaw Siwek should have stopped the shot. Gigel Botescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Rocendo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Powiśle Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jakub Ferfecki in the 27th minute. It was a well-played corner which Dominik Maziarski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Miroslaw Drab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gigel Botescu made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Rocendo. Gigel Botescu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Miroslaw Drab sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Piotr Kawa hit a great ball. With 42 minutes on the clock, Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gigel Botescu had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Jakub Ferfecki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball The crowd rose to their feet as Jakub Ferfecki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gigel Botescu. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Rocendo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Rocendo in the 55th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Olimpia Warszawa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jakub Ferfecki was slow to take the kick. During this time Powiśle Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Powiśle Warszawa's corner Lorenzo Rocendo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gigel Botescu quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslaw Drab in the 60th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Siwek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Joks in the 65th minute. The supporters of Powiśle Warszawa booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Kawa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Radomir Lato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radomir Lato kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Boguslaw Siwek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Joks in the 72nd minute. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abay Uygun, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gigel Botescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Maziarski in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Joks in the 77th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Powiśle Warszawa from getting a goal against them. If Zhu Cheng Guo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boguslaw Siwek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Maziarski came free, but Gigel Botescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Radomir Lato hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Sharma Sharma was substituted for Damazy Joks. In the 95th minute, Radomir Lato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Powiśle Warszawa fans cheered their team off the field, for while KS Olimpia Warszawa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
