An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuzalp Mesut in the 3rd minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yavuzalp Mesut had several of the Legia Stavanger's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Slavcho Kanov as he didn't even see the shot coming. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut in the 9th minute of play. Slavcho Kanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beniamin Bondel in the 10th minute. Sielce Warszawa's Yavuzalp Mesut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Slavcho Kanov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Slavcho Kanov made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Yavuzalp Mesut sent off a good shot on target. Beniamin Bondel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Slavcho Kanov made a huge save. The supporters of Sielce Warszawa booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orest Bredun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sielce Warszawa's goalkeeper Didier Gobbelijns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slavcho Kanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beniamin Bondel in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Beniamin Bondel made a precise shot to the right of Slavcho Kanov. Legia Stavanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sielce Warszawa's Yavuzalp Mesut. But to his dismay, Yavuzalp Mesut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tymur Dolganskyi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Legia Stavanger:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sielce Warszawa:s goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Sielce Warszawa's Boleslaw Domarecki got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Slavcho Kanov. Yavuzalp Mesut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavcho Kanov having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Farstad to make the kick off. Yavuzalp Mesut might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slavcho Kanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yavuzalp Mesut ran back to his position shaking his head. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuzalp Mesut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beniamin Bondel in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavcho Kanov saved Legia Stavanger from getting behind. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Slavcho Kanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yavuzalp Mesut's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut in the 59th minute of play. Slavcho Kanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boleslaw Domarecki went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Sielce Warszawa's Janusz Haskiewicz was substituted for Yavuzalp Mesut. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Haskiewicz in the 70th minute of the match. Janusz Haskiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Haskiewicz came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Farstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sielce Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Legia Stavanger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boleslaw Domarecki took the corner. When Sielce Warszawa's Janusz Haskiewicz in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legia Stavanger's goalie prevented a goal. Abelardo Alonso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Didier Gobbelijns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Stavanger. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Haskiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Daniel Skulstad got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Janusz Haskiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavcho Kanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the Legia Stavanger defense, Janusz Haskiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Slavcho Kanov. The Legia Stavanger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Slavcho Kanov should have stopped the shot.
