Juarês Vianna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jan Lindström made a huge save. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Surahammar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Attila Kiss was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvi Verde's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Alvi Verde's Wilbert Ugalde getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Benett in the 12th minute of play forced Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Téo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Oakley in the 14th minute of the match. Radamel Oakley spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Alvi Verde's goal. 21 minutes into the match, Radamel Oakley notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alvi Verde's Téo Leite. Téo Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, Radamel Oakley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Téo Leite. Alvi Verde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radamel Oakley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alvi Verde's Téo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Oakley in the 29th minute of play. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel Oakley in the 31st minute of play. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Heidemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Kodzhabashev in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Juarês Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvi Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surahammar the free kick. When Radamel Oakley came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Surahammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radamel Oakley couldn't finish the play. Téo Leite came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Adrian Kodzhabashev. But to his dismay, Adrian Kodzhabashev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Heidemann to make the kick off. Mark Brovall hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Brovall to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Heidemann in the 67th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jan Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Heidemann came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes in the game Markus Wallman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zlatan Lion. If Leandro Heidemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 77th minute of play. Casemiro Joinvilense made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alvi Verde's Juarês Vianna. With a little luck, Alvi Verde's Téo Leite got control of the ball when André Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Téo Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Benett, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Surahammar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Surahammar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
