Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas-Jan Thomas in the 22nd minute of play. Ivan Drago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas-Jan Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ivan Drago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Mendiko in the 26th minute of play. Lost Boys Sports Academy's attentive Merih Demiral managed to snatch the ball when Tiburcio Buinton made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Pepe Argento might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Johansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pepe Argento ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Rosado came free, but Ivan Drago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Johansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepe Argento's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Jorge Mendiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ivan Drago made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Mendiko was the one to do the kick off.
