Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Petter Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Skarkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Lundin came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petter Skarkman was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Marcelo Steven in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Protegéerna's Ulrik Söderlund. Bolo Skjold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Durazno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bolo Skjold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Protegéerna made a substitution. Guido Python replaced Jakob Lundin. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Georg Termander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bolo Skjold came out of the goal and Georg Termander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georg Termander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Bolo Skjold skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Ulrik Söderlund notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist. Anders Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Bolo Skjold successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Python in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Ulrik Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Protegéerna were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Golden Lions FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Näver took the corner. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Nyberg in the 93rd minute of play. Anders Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Nyberg went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Lions FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Protegéerna.
