The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Isreal Rivas. Mustafa Kemal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tauras Wijnaldum in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arūnas Pukelis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daugirdas Burokas saved FC Alytus United from getting behind. In the 14th minute Daavid Šembera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Kemal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsrafil Yağız scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daugirdas Burokas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC Alytus United defense, Sigitas Jakubauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daugirdas Burokas. The FC Alytus United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daugirdas Burokas should have stopped the shot. FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Danilevičius in the 23rd minute of play. Tomas Danilevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daugirdas Burokas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Danilevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauras Normantas got free with Mustafa Kemal in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Alytus United were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after FK Mintis Vilnius's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deividas Mencendorfs took the corner. Deividas Mencendorfs made a great header on FC Alytus United's corner, it was just that FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal managed to reach the ball for a save. After 38 played minutes FC Alytus United got a freekick which was hit by Lowrey Fallen. In the 39th minute İsrafil Yağız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daugirdas Burokas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daugirdas Burokas came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Mintis Vilnius's İsrafil Yağız. But to his dismay, İsrafil Yağız quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigitas Jakubauskas in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daugirdas Burokas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daugirdas Burokas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigitas Jakubauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Daugirdas Burokas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Danilevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lauras Normantas was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, İsrafil Yağız tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daugirdas Burokas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daugirdas Burokas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Danilevičius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 52 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Yağız came free, but Daugirdas Burokas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daugirdas Burokas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arūnas Pukelis in the 69th minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Jakubauskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daugirdas Burokas. Daugirdas Burokas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. İsrafil Yağız took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daugirdas Burokas. Daugirdas Burokas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Daugirdas Burokas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arūnas Pukelis in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arūnas Pukelis. Daugirdas Burokas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Danilevičius. FK Mintis Vilnius's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
