When FC Pegasas Siauliai's 孟振邦 in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Deividas Aukštakis fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Alytus United's protests and gave Deividas Aukštakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Deividas Aukštakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauras Normantas got free with Pavel Romanescu in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 孟振邦 struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Daugirdas Burokas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pegasas Siauliai. After the first half FC Pegasas Siauliai were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Mantvydas Bekeris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pegasas Siauliai and the FC Alytus United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mantvydas Bekeris hit a great ball. Miltos Kotsovolos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Daugirdas Burokas made a huge save. 孟振邦's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daugirdas Burokas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 孟振邦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daugirdas Burokas having to interfere. FC Alytus United's Saulius Inzaghi was substituted for Lauras Normantas. In the 90thth minute of the game 孟振邦 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Pegasas Siauliai's 孟振邦 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chants of FC Pegasas Siauliai echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close.
