Cui Qing's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Arne Askstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robertas Sabaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. After some careless play in the Savage Hippo defense, Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Arne Askstedt. The Savage Hippo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Arne Askstedt should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Agatas Didžiulis got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu in the 76th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Absoliut fans cheered their team off the field, for while Savage Hippo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
