After 3 played minutes Keszi Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Csaba Sarkady. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gorgory's goalkeeper Abel Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugó Révész sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Benet made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Enzo Elizardo immediately put the ball in play. Dan Benet made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Keszi Athletic's Özkan İlhan. Gábor Hellinger hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dan Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gheorghe Ecobescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Taffarel having to interfere. If Oscar Arevalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Keszi Athletic's Vaios Vourtzoumis got a free kick in the 41st minute. Oscar Arevalo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Claudinho Taffarel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Gorgory's Elroy Snijders was substituted for Oscar Arevalo. Gorgory's Donatello Caseres was substituted for Basilio Cordairo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elroy Snijders to strike the kick off in the second half. Elroy Snijders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Claudinho Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elroy Snijders, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Abel Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Vale in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gorgory's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aquilino Castelo Branco was slow to take the kick. During this time Keszi Athletic's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zsolt Veress almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gorgory's Abel Orlan did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elroy Snijders in the 76th minute of play forced Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Keszi Athletic's Csaba Sarkady got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Keszi Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Elroy Snijders came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Keszi Athletic walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
