To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saltuk Askeroğlu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Paly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chen Zhen in the 7th minute. The corner led SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Ödön Szily to fire away a dangerous shot which Lionel Paly despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Andriy Lunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emery Heller in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pirmin Jäggi came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Emery Heller notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin. In the 25th match minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Melber to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's Emery Heller broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Saltuk Askeroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Saltuk Askeroğlu scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lionel Paly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Wil 1900 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lionel Paly should have stopped the shot. Saltuk Askeroğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Paly having to make a save. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saltuk Askeroğlu in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Ödön Szily. After 89 minutes, Georges Gladu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wil 1900 and the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Georges Gladu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Chen Zhen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lionel Paly came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. reached it.
