A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Simon Hilhorst hit a great ball. Arseniy Bokatyuk struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. César Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen 05. César Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Laudrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Simon Hilhorst. 21 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Wilco Keldermans came free, but Tymoteusz Mios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Simon Bannenbusch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. César Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 minutes of play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Bannenbusch in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Laudrup in the 35th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Simon Bannenbusch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartwig Engelhardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Brian Laudrup made a precise shot to the right of César Sousa. Decathlon Dudes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Simon Bannenbusch made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ayuso came free, but Tymoteusz Mios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilco Keldermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tymoteusz Mios having to interfere. KFC Uerdingen 05's Tymoteusz Mios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ayuso in the 55th minute of play. Tymoteusz Mios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ayuso in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Bannenbusch came free, but César Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hartwig Engelhardt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but César Sousa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Bannenbusch in the 67th minute of play. Hartwig Engelhardt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, César Sousa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 70 minutes into the game, Brian Laudrup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. César Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KFC Uerdingen 05 made a substitution. Edin Džeko replaced Simon Bannenbusch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Laudrup in the 76th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Laudrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. César Sousa was a little too slow when Edin Džeko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5. The Decathlon Dudes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KFC Uerdingen 05 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
