The audience thought a goal was coming when Pirmin Jäggi got free with Wei Bing Ran in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wei Bing Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Rosa in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tory Pryor got free with Wei Bing Ran in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rodd Commons fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Chelsea's protests and gave Rodd Commons a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Rodd Commons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Wil 1900 reached it. 63 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gus Weir.
