A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Harmen Hilkes hit a great ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Wil 1900 from getting a goal against them. Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 96th minute of play. If Tory Pryor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Wil 1900 had played much better football throughout.
