Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when René Lazarus took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff got control of the ball when Umberto Romano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Felix Groll got a free kick in the 8th minute. Erich Berghoff made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Amandus Blattmer sent off a good shot on target. Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Balus Treter from getting a goal against them. After 13 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Wagner. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Vagner Penisson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Erich Berghoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederic Kuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Lazarus in the 21st minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Yanic Kulenovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th play minute Frederic Kuster came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erich Berghoff. 1-0. Friedel Chalut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederic Kuster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Erich Berghoff made a huge save. Rouven Jansen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Amandus Blattmer came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Wil 1900 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amandus Blattmer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Wildemann in the 35th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Yanic Kulenovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Sebastian Harm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Erich Berghoff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederic Kuster was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Vagner Penisson. Erich Berghoff came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Frederic Kuster. But to his dismay, Frederic Kuster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederic Kuster in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erich Berghoff saved Balus Treter from getting behind. When Ekpenyong Vogler fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balus Treter's protests and gave Ekpenyong Vogler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Balus Treter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekpenyong Vogler to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rdth minute of the game Vagner Penisson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balus Treter's Erich Berghoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Balus Treter defense, Umberto Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erich Berghoff. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erich Berghoff should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Frederic Kuster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erich Berghoff was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Balus Treter defense, Vagner Penisson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erich Berghoff. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erich Berghoff should have stopped the shot. Erich Berghoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederic Kuster's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, FC Wil 1900's Umberto Romano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erich Berghoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 95th minute, Frederic Kuster left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Wil 1900 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. FC Wil 1900 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
