Karim Bado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Zagrodny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Pimenta hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Karim Bado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco van Basten. David Puyol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. Jovens Democratas MZC's Jozef Ilve was substituted for Xu Li Sang. In the 26th minute, one of Jovens Democratas MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jovens Democratas MZC. The referee gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tadeu Britto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer. 1-1. Mexhit Koçi made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Durval de Queirós however managed to control. Karim Bado made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Durval de Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Mexhit Koçi charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mexhit Koçi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mexhit Koçi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederico França was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Cássio Pimenta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 52 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Pimenta. Dobromir Zagrodny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karim Bado. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Cruz came free, but Karim Bado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas França's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas França helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolas França hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Karim Bado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco van Basten in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner. Dobromir Zagrodny went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dobromir Zagrodny almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado did a great save. With a little luck, Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer got control of the ball when Nicolas França tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval de Queirós in the 67th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Karim Bado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval de Queirós in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Bado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Cerezo. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Serginho Sabóia replaced Marco van Basten. Jovens Democratas MZC's Giuseppe Negri was substituted for Durval de Queirós. After 71 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Cerezo. Giuseppe Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Giuseppe Negri made a precise shot to the right of Karim Bado. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 84 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Giuseppe Negri made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karim Bado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Renan Tepedino was substituted for Sidnei Sanches. 89 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Negri notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado. Karim Bado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Sabóia in the 93rd minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Karim Bado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
