Idar Istad made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Xu Li Sang sent off a good shot on target. After 11 minutes, David Puyol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jovens Democratas MZC and the Daustad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Børge Børseth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manoel Neuer. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xu Li Sang in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Idar Istad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 18th minute of the match, Serginho Sabóia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Idar Istad was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jovens Democratas MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dobromir Zagrodny in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco van Basten in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Idar Istad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Peder Tveita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daustad and the Jovens Democratas MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Tveita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Idar Istad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 22nd minute of the match. If Serginho Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Durval de Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Idar Istad, 1-0. In the 30th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Durval de Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Serginho Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Kvernmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Zagrodny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Idar Istad made a huge save. A very nice done corner allowed Serginho Sabóia to score against Idar Istad in Daustad's goal. 3-0 after 41 minutes. 44 minutes into the match, Daustad's goalkeeper Idar Istad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xu Li Sang. Idar Istad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco van Basten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Idar Istad. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Daustad's Idar Istad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Li Sang in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Durval de Queirós notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Daustad's Idar Istad. Idar Istad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Xu Li Sang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Idar Istad was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Dobromir Zagrodny made a great header on Jovens Democratas MZC's corner, it was just that Daustad's Idar Istad managed to reach the ball for a save. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Jozef Ilve replaced Mexhit Koçi. Daustad's Idar Istad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Li Sang in the 75th minute of play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Xu Li Sang sped through Daustad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Idar Istad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Li Sang in the 82nd minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Idar Istad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Daustad booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Idar Istad was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Idar Istad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Negri in the 87th minute of play. Daustad's Idar Istad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 88th minute of play. André Luiz Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idar Istad having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Negri in the 91st minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Idar Istad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
