Nicolas França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Idar Istad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Karim Bado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Børge Børseth in the 13th minute of play. Frederico França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fiori Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idar Istad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Daustad booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Børge Børseth in the 27th minute of play. Karim Bado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Kaland in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Frederico França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christer Kaland to make the kick off. Despite this Idar Istad quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Børge Børseth hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Daustad's zone, Frederico França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idar Istad came out of the goal and Frederico França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idar Istad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daustad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
