In the 13th minute Eliseu Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Mangueira in the 19th minute of the match. Diogo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Braga in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's Luís Fabiano Clemente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes Chelsicha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Prata who took care of the corner kick. 25 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Braga came free, but Diogo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Luís Fabiano Clemente made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Braga in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Velloso saved Chelsicha from getting behind. After 38 minutes, Eliseu Braga made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Chelsicha getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ediberto Munhoz hit a great ball. Marquês de Herval's Eliseu Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Braga in the 46th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Braga in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Velloso saved Chelsicha from getting behind. After the first half Marquês de Herval were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Carlos Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Diogo Velloso made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Eliseu Braga sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Luís Fabiano Clemente fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Chelsicha getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sebastião Paraense hit a great ball. Luís Fabiano Clemente struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Diogo Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. Antônio Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Braga in the 65th minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Diogo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diogo Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsicha from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Chelsicha defense, Luís Fabiano Clemente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogo Velloso. The Chelsicha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Velloso should have stopped the shot. Arnaldo Lima in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diogo Velloso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eliseu Braga struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Diogo Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. With an all-out effort, Marquês de Herval's Diogo Velloso threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Fabiano Clemente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diogo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Braga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Diogo Velloso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diogo Velloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseu Braga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. Chelsicha were furious when Tarcisio Esteves was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Tarcisio Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
