Doni Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Liu Zhi sent off a good shot on target. Liu Zhi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doni Meirelles having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liu Zhi couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Manfredo Reis made the kick off in the second half. Liu Zhi might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doni Meirelles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liu Zhi ran back to his position shaking his head. Doni Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Zhi in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ booed when Borussia Dortmund MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
