In the 15th minute Ronaldão Jaafari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Feng Feng in the 17th minute of play forced Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Pedro Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Čech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Borussia Dortmund MZB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sune Bergdal to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Tiago Gabriel Monteiro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Pedro Čech made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when He Xiao Ao sent off a good shot on target. Sune Bergdal's late challenge caught a Seterma Tractors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sune Bergdal helped the player get up and apologised. 61 minutes into the match, He Xiao Ao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Čech, 0-3. Borussia Dortmund MZB made a substitution. Olívio Andrade replaced Ye Feng Feng. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Zhi in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Čech saved Seterma Tractors from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liu Zhi in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Liu Zhi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Seterma Tractors's Pedro Čech. Pedro Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Seterma Tractors's zone, Liu Zhi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Čech came out of the goal and Liu Zhi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Seterma Tractors defense, Liu Zhi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Čech. The Seterma Tractors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Čech should have stopped the shot. Seterma Tractors's Pedro Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Zhi in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Fernandes in the 83rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
