After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dobromir Zagrodny got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Machado in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Durval de Queirós. In the 47th minute, David Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Marco van Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Amor having to make a save. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Durval de Queirós in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans cheered their team off the field, for while CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
